Artist Notes: Yellow (The Black-Throated Finch) is part of my Aquarium series because, in the Australian Wing of the Baltimore Aquarium, there are birds. This is the endangered Black-Throated Finch, which I watched as it flashed by in bright freedom and then landed in safety.
