Artist Notes: Fijord View I was inspired by a trip to Norway, when we stayed at a lovely hotel on the Sognefijord. One day we scheduled a boat tour of the fijord. Though it had rained earlier, we still went out in a boat to see the area around Balestrand on the Sognefijord and stopped in at a little town. We were not the only ones to be captured by the sky. The painting is acrylic on stretched canvas, on heavy duty stretchers, with painted sides. A frame is not necessary.
